About SA Talent Hub

What is SA Talent Hub?

SA Talent Hub is South Africa's premier platform for discovering and showcasing local creators, artists, and performers. We curate top talent across categories like dance, music, comedy, and sport, providing a scroll-first experience that feels like a premium local content feed.

How does it work?

We manually curate and feature South African creators with embedded videos from platforms like YouTube and TikTok. We then add profile context, category guidance, and editorial notes so visitors get more value than a simple embed feed.

Is it free to use?

Yes! SA Talent Hub is completely free for users to browse and discover content. We focus on building a community that supports South African talent.

Who can be featured?

Any South African creator, artist, or performer with compelling content can be featured. We look for quality, originality, and positive representation of South African talent across all categories.

Do you publish stories and articles too?

Yes. SA Talent Hub also publishes blog articles, creator spotlights, and category coverage. Those pages help explain trends, add original commentary, and give visitors more context around the creators featured on the site.

For Creators

How do I get featured?

To get featured on SA Talent Hub, you can:

  • Contact us through our contact form with your details and video links
  • Share your profile with friends and encourage them to reach out to us
  • Tag us in your social media posts (@satalenthub)

We review all submissions manually and aim to respond within 48 hours.

Do creators pay to be featured?

Editorial inclusion is based on review, not guaranteed payment. We may work with brands or partnerships separately, but that does not automatically decide which creators are featured in editorial sections of the site.

What information do you need?

To feature a creator, we typically need:

  • Full name and age
  • Location in South Africa
  • Brief bio (2-3 sentences)
  • Category (Dance, Music, Comedy, Sport)
  • Links to YouTube or TikTok videos
  • Profile photo (optional but recommended)

Do you host videos or just embed them?

We embed videos from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok) rather than hosting them ourselves. This means:

  • Zero storage costs for us
  • Zero copyright risk
  • Faster page loading
  • You maintain control of your content

Can I update my profile?

Yes! If you're already featured, you can contact us with any updates to your profile information, new videos, or changes you'd like to make. We're happy to keep your profile current.

Can SA Talent Hub write an article about me?

Potentially, yes. We may publish blog-style coverage or creator spotlights when there is enough story value, audience interest, or category relevance to justify original editorial content.

How do I like and interact with content?

You can interact with content by:

  • Clicking the heart icon to like creators
  • Viewing detailed creator profiles
  • Sharing creator profiles with friends

All interactions help us surface the best South African talent!

Can I watch videos without leaving the site?

Absolutely! All videos are embedded directly on our platform. You can watch YouTube and TikTok videos without ever leaving SA Talent Hub, keeping you engaged with South African content.

Why do some pages have more text than others?

We are building the site as a discovery platform with original editorial value. That means many pages now include extra profile notes, category context, and articles so visitors get more than just an embedded video.

Technical Questions

Why do videos sometimes not load?

Videos may not load due to:

  • Content being removed or made private by the creator
  • Regional restrictions on the video
  • Temporary issues with the third-party platform
  • Ad blockers or browser extensions interfering

If a video consistently doesn't load, please let us know so we can update the creator's profile.

Is the site mobile-friendly?

Yes! SA Talent Hub is fully responsive and works great on all devices:

  • Mobile phones and tablets
  • Desktop computers
  • Different screen sizes and orientations

The embedded videos also adapt to your screen size for the best viewing experience.

Do you use cookies?

We use minimal cookies for essential functionality:

  • Session cookies for basic site functionality
  • Analytics cookies to understand how you use the site
  • Preference cookies to remember your settings

You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings.

How do comments and submissions get moderated?

We review public-facing user submissions to keep creator pages useful, respectful, and safe. Content that looks abusive, misleading, spammy, or inappropriate may be removed or held back from publication.
