How SA Talent Hub reviews creators, writes profiles, and handles moderation
We want visitors, creators, advertising partners, and search platforms to understand how the site is curated and how content decisions are made.
Last updated: June 7, 2026
SA Talent Hub combines embedded media with original editorial context. We publish creator pages, category pages, and blog coverage to help people discover South African talent with more clarity and trust.
1. How creators are selected
Creators may be featured through editorial research, public discovery, direct outreach, or user submissions. We review profiles before publishing them and consider:
- Originality and quality of the creator's work
- Consistency of publishing and overall profile completeness
- Whether the creator clearly fits a category on the site
- Whether the profile adds useful discovery value for visitors
2. What we write ourselves
Embedded media may appear on the site, but we aim to add our own original contribution around it. That includes:
- Creator bios and summary notes
- Category explanations and discovery guidance
- Blog articles, commentary, and trend coverage
- Profile context such as audience fit, strengths, and why a creator was included
3. Accuracy and updates
We try to keep creator information accurate, but details can change over time. If a creator or rights holder contacts us with a correction request, we will review the request and update the page where appropriate.
4. Corrections and takedown requests
If you are a creator, representative, or rights holder and believe a page contains inaccurate information or should be removed, contact us with the relevant details and supporting context. We review requests in good faith and aim to respond promptly.
5. User-generated content and moderation
Some parts of the site allow user interaction, such as comments, messages, and submissions. We reserve the right to review, limit, or remove user-generated content that is abusive, unlawful, misleading, spammy, or otherwise inconsistent with the platform.
- Comments may be held for moderation before they appear publicly
- Submissions may be rejected if they are incomplete, misleading, or promotional without useful context
- We may restrict or remove accounts that abuse community features
6. Advertising and independence
SA Talent Hub may display advertising, including Google-served advertising, on some parts of the site. Advertising does not guarantee editorial placement. Sponsored or promotional arrangements should be clearly distinguished from editorial curation wherever applicable.
7. Contact
If you need to request a correction, ask about a featured creator, or report a moderation issue, please use the contact page so we can review the matter properly.
